Acceptance of Terms
Booking or continuing lessons indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Lesson Structure
Lessons are offered as either Term Enrolments or Weekly Lessons.

All lessons continue year-round including public holidays unless otherwise advised.

Term Enrolment
Term enrolments are invoiced in line with the Victorian school term schedule.

Students receive a reserved weekly lesson time for the duration of the enrolment period.

Lessons are invoiced and paid upfront per school term in advance and must be paid before the first lesson of the term.

Cash payments should be provided in a labelled envelope or folded paper with the correct amount before or at the first lesson of the term.

Students attending under a term enrolment are eligible for one makeup lesson per term, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.

Makeup lessons must be used within the same term or during the following school holiday period, subject to availability. Unused makeup lessons cannot be carried over or refunded.

Where appropriate, lessons may be moved from in-person to online with sufficient notice (by 9am on the day of the lesson) at the studio’s discretion.

Refunds are not provided for upfront payments.

Additional lessons during school holidays will be available at the term lesson rate.

If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, the lesson will either be rescheduled or credited.

Weekly Lessons
Weekly lessons are paid per lesson and held as an ongoing weekly booking.

Payment is required no later than 24 hours before each lesson, or with cash on arrival.

While offering payment flexibility, these lessons are expected to be attended consistently.

Weekly students may cancel or reschedule lessons with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, in line with the studio cancellation policy.

Cancellations & Changes
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any lesson.

All lesson cancellations and changes must be provided via email. Verbal notice is not considered sufficient.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) are charged in full and cannot be rescheduled.

Missed lessons without notice are considered a no-show and are forfeited.

Reminder emails issued through the booking system serve as confirmation of scheduled lesson bookings and constitute sufficient notice of lessons.

Online and in-person lessons cannot be interchanged with less than 24 hours’ notice.

While every effort is made to maintain consistent lesson times, occasional adjustments may be required to support the overall studio schedule, including accommodating makeup lessons and scheduling needs. Lesson times may be moved where necessary, with advance notice provided.

Breaks of two weeks or longer require a minimum of two weeks’ written notice or the equivalent of two paid lessons.

If you wish to discontinue lessons, a minimum of two weeks’ written notice or the equivalent of two paid lessons is required.

Notice periods begin from the date written notice is received via email.

Deposit

A holding deposit equivalent to two lessons is required for all ongoing lesson bookings.

The deposit is held on file and, if required, will be used toward:

  • Unpaid lesson fees

  • Late cancellations

  • Insufficient notice periods

  • Outstanding balances relating to discontinued lessons

If unused, the remaining deposit balance will be applied to the student’s final lessons or refunded once lessons have concluded and all outstanding balances have been settled.

All lesson communication is managed via email only to ensure clarity and accurate record keeping.
